I set Venerable Fare up to glorify all things food, travel, art and music. I know it’s seemingly broad but I only post things that I feel represent my own personal culture. Sometimes they can be funny and sometimes they can be downright depressing, as is life. So that’s what this is, a blog imitating my life.
To be honest, food is the most inexplicably beautiful thing one can possibly make with one’s hands. So I figure, If I can post food topics and recipes, the only thing left to do is explore all things possible on a full stomach! That, my friend, is limitless.
Who is Venerable Fare?
My name’s Jonny Mitchell and I reside in Toronto, Canada. I work in a creative industry and love everything witty, smart, artistic, colorful and inspiring. My hobbies include writing, reading, biking, skateboarding, traveling, eating, sleeping and partying so hard and so late I can’t control the volume of my voice for a week. I have no formal cooking training but have been able to put togetehr nice little meals since I was a kid. I research food as much as possible and absolutely love putting together random meals with no plan.
I recently got myself an SLR which makes photography a new and exciting venture in my life, so you’ll see a lot of that here as well.
Other than that, this is a place for new idea’s, trends, opinions and all things interesting and unknown.
The format is quite informal so post anything of interest and , once approved, I’ll feature it with a shout out to you.
